This course introduces pre-primary teacher trainees to key philosophical theories and logical principles that inform the practice of early childhood education. It explores foundational and contemporary philosophical perspectives—such as Constructivism, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Pragmatism, and Existentialism—and examines how these philosophies shape curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and classroom management in early childhood settings.

Delivered through the MITER Learning Management System (LMS), the course integrates online discussions, readings, reflective activities, and interactive assignments to equip learners with critical thinking skills and philosophical insight necessary for responsive and inclusive teaching.
