This Diploma in Primary Education (DPTE) program was designed to build preservice and in-service teachers’ research and professional-pedagogical, content, and technological knowledge, skills, and attitudes to effectively teach primary school children. The program comprises a mix of professional studies and specialized content, informed pedagogy, technology, soft skills, and integration of theory and practice. The program will consist of 60% practicum and 40% theory, and an assessment model which follows the same logic.
