This course, "School Practices," is designed to equip students with the necessary preparation before they embark on actual school practice. It clarifies what school practice entails and introduces students to a range of activities and practices they can expect during their field experience. The course extends beyond traditional classroom activity preparation, encompassing the professional practices expected of a teacher. This approach stems from the understanding that teaching aims to foster a child's holistic development. By viewing teachers as comprehensively prepared individuals, we can ensure they are capable of nurturing the required holistic growth in their students. This course will familiarize teachers with the Teaching Practices in Early Childhood Care and Education, Health, Safety, and Nutritional Well-being of Children and lastly the Professional Responsibilities and Community Engagement.
